This Tristan Davisdon mare has an obvious chance here dropped in to a Classified Stakes race – however, at the prices there seems to be enough to take her on with.
Firstly, she’s yet to win a race on the grass (8 runs) and has only recorded two career wins in total from 36 outings (both on the AW). While she was also a beaten favourite – just under 3 lengths – in a similar race here last time out (3rd).
The last of those successes came just two runs ago at Wolves, but that was also over 7f and despite this longer trip looking likely to suit – she’s still not won over a mile (4 runs).
Jockey Jason Hart knows the horse well – having ridden her 8 times – but is still to win on her and even though she’s the top-rated in the field has to give 9lbsaway to the 3 year-olds in the race, which might not be easy.
