Weekly Betting Review 04/08/24

Welcome to The Sunday Supplement by Punt Hub

A quick reminder that the weekly roundup runs from Saturday to Friday, so if you’re reading this wondering why yesterday isnt mentioned, that’s because it’s next week.

Your handy weekly review is here! Let’s get straight into it:

BETTY

Flying along this week, the BETTY community is really coming together to achieve a collective goal. Watching everyone share methods to help other followers out has been fantastic, and BETTY is really starting to take shape. There’s still a long way to go, and we’re looking at more improvements and changes. If you have suggestions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Normans Backs

Norm started with us on the 25th, so I’ll update from then to bring us up to date. Seven winners since last Thursday, and it’s a good start for the free trial with some solid picks. Ambassador was the standout, returning 16 points profit at Uttoxeter, and Count Dorsay added 9 points profit. Norm is slightly up overall as the trial just gets underway.

Horse HQ

A tough week for Horse HQ, with the tipsters admitting they couldn’t buy a winner until Pink In The Park broke the streak at Galway, the 3/1 winner providing at least some relief.

Fire And Forget

Four winners this week, but just not enough to push F&F over the line with a tiny loss for the month.
Fi Fi returned 5.65 points at Salisbury, and Stormy Pearl added 5.4 points. Finished July -0.03 and given that he only bets on the flat I’d say August really needs to be a good month.

Away Lays Portfolio

No update provided for this week.

Morning Line

A pretty poor month for Morning Line, ending July at -55 points to level stakes. I actually made a small profit of 3x my stake betting to win 1 point rather than level staking 1 point, as per the authors advised change a while back, but I still don’t think 3 points profit is much to chew on at all (just my opinion here).

August started better with four winners, including King Of Scotia, returning 4.34 points profit.

Here’s hoping for a stronger August all round for the morning line.

Lay of the Day

Back-to-back winners this week ruined the progress made all month long for LOTD.

However, Fanzine got things back on track, with a loser starting August off in the right direction.

LOTD ended July with +9 points profit.

Must admit laying one horse per day and being +14 from 42 selections is pretty impressive, the obvious downside is one bad day sets you back 2+ days but I upped my stake when he finally hit a loser (which of course another loser followed), but I really do like the service and think the guy has a talent that can be hard to come by in racing.

Pass Master

No long updated as it’s forever free.

Premium Tipster Roundup

Hanbury Racing

Place money helped Richard end the month +129 points, or £1290 up to £10 stakes.

August couldn’t have started better, with Battleground delivering a massive 39 points profit, meaning a 40-point return after just two bets for the month.

Hanbury is up +330 points over the last four months—some services can’t achieve that in two years!

Premium Racing

Finally back on the sheet, Premium Racing’s performance will be summarized by overall monthly results.

July saw 17 points profit returned from four winners and a place out of 11 bets.

Interesting to see a Greyhound bet the other day, obviously not recorded, smashed in the betting and won easily – some great inside info there!

The Bet Professor

Two winners this week, with one at month-end securing a steady 14 points profit for July.

Aomori City was the month-end winner, returning 4 points profit, while Blackjack kicked off August with a win, adding 4.5 points.

14% ROI for the year and it’s back to steady old Bet Prof after 2 losing months prior.

Wedge Winners

Wedge Winners finished July with +21 points.

While it wasn’t the ending hoped for, given the strong earlier return of around +50 points, profit is profit, and followers won’t mind AT ALL.

Nine winners this week as we move into August, with Lucky Out being the pick of the bunch.

Two winning months out of the last three—hopefully, the service can continue on this positive trend.

HRN

Just one winner this week, marking a tough end to the month for HRN as the service seems to drop off the boil.

Count D’Orsay was the only winner, returning 8 points profit.

HRN ended July with +5 points after two challenging months, Hopefully the system finds it’s feet again soon.

What’s to Watch

Hanbury Racing

Top of the pile this month, Hanbury Racing has been ruling the roost with incredible selections and massive winners.

August started with a bang, with a winner already pushing the service into profit after just two days.

It’s brilliant to have Richard back in top form. Get yourself on board with our special first month offer here.

BETTY AI

Everyone is loving it, and it’s great to see the community coming together to achieve a common goal. There have been some fantastic profits, and the winning slips are an incredible sight. Join here – It’s a game changer.

WOTW

Richard cleans up this week, and it’s no surprise as his Friday tip, Battleoverdoyen, was first past the post at Galway, smashing in a fantastic 39.6 points profit. What a winner from a top-tier tipster! Join here and get your special first month offer.
