This Jim Goldie runner has had a top season – winning three times on the spin in June and July.
However, as a result, she’s shot up 15lbs in the ratings from the first of those successes and you feel the handicapper might just be starting to catch up with her.
This is supported with her winning run coming to an end last time – albeit only beaten a neck – but is up another pound here and more importantly is also dropped in trip to 5f.
It’s worth noting that all her career wins have been over 6f, so will today’s ease back to 5f suit? She’s tried the minumum trip three times and finished 4th, 6th and 12th.
The other negatives are the form of the Goldie yard, who are just 2-from-25 in recent weeks and also I’m not convinced the return to Musselburgh is in Eternal Sunshine’s favour too.
She’s raced at the Scottish track four times in her career and is so far unplaced in all these runs – with the best finish a couple of 4th places. While the last of those came over this 5f trip and off a mark 13lbs lower – so based on that you feel she needs to find a bit more improvement.
