Footy Lays
So I posted in the free group yesterday saying ‘its hugely tempting to lay Everton’, They did indeed get battered.

The eye will be drawn to this Jonathan Portman runner after a couple of seconds recently – however, despite running into an improving sort in Kinetic last time at Windsor, when drilling into that race you’ll notice that Make A Scene was infact beaten 7 1/2 into the runners-up spot.
This year-old has also recorded just one career win from 11 and that came on the AW at Wolves back in February, while she’s since eight handicap runs without success. This, of course, isn’t ideal.
Yes, she stays a bit further than today’s 1m2f trip, but one of the main worries for me is that she’s often slowly away in her races – meaning she’ll have less time than in recent runs over 1m 3 1/2f to make up the ground if this happens again. Four of her last five starts have see in-running comments that show she’s been slow into stride.
Alistair Rawlinson rides for the first time too, which is no real negative but worth mentioning. While the final niggle would be the form of the Portman yard, who are 0-from-15 with their runners in recent weeks.
Looking at the rest, the in-form Ed de Giles sends Run Of Luck to post, plus we’ll also have lesser exposed runners like KimcHi and Drusilla on our side, who are both open to a lot more improvement than the selection.
