Gonna have to go with what I see in front of me, and that’s Lay Denmark +1 @ 2.5. As good as Denmark have been, Germany are a step up in class and given they are hosts as well this should be a Germany win. I think 2.5 is a cracking price.

This Charlie Johnston runner was a length winner at Chester earlier this month and heads into today’s race as the only last-time-out winner in the field.
But there are some reasons to think today’s contest will be a lot harder for this De Sousa-ridden runner.
Firstly, he’s she’s up 4lbs to a mark of 79 and so has been nudged back up to a career-high rating and she’s tried to win off this three times before and failed on occasion.
In fact, she’s run five times when rated 76 or more and lost these, while this also represents a step up in grade to Class 4 (from 5).
The slight niggle is that she seems to like Chester, with form here reading 2-2-1-7-7-1. However, her better runs have also all come over shorter – the two times she finished 7th came over 2m+ (today’s trip). Therefore, the jury has to be out on whether she stays this far.
So, all things considered, despite the yard having won this race 12 months ago with another horse, Dreams Adozen looks worth taking on today, in a race that the Beckett runner Clan Chieftain, who stayed on well over 1m6f, looks to have plenty going for him.
