Just the one tip this week and it returned a place. Shajak returning 5.60 points profit at Galway.
I recall watching the race and the jockey was at him from at least half way im thinking ‘for god sake’, and come the final 2 furlongs the horse looked the winner only to finish 3rd. A solid profit at a massive price and secures another winning month for the insider. Slow & steady wins the race.
The Bookies Enemy:
After two less than solid months Gary has got out the gate this month with a fantastic flurry of winners. Five and a place to be exact! Johan a very strong winner with the 28/1 e/w tip returning 16 points profit. Executive Decision also gets a mention with 8.5 points profit as B.E makes a very strong start to August.
Hanbury Racing:
Just the one tip returning a profit this week with Blackhillsofdakota adding 9 points profit for Richard. Been a tough spell for the service but one he’ll surely come out of. When the going is soft to heavy (or, not so good for the lesser racing enthusiast) it’s good to remember the importance of a bank and long term staking. Two winners this week and a good start to the month for TBP. Show Me Show Me the pick of the pair with 9 points returned at Beverley. Habanero Star also returning a profit of 4 points and making sure that TBP is 9 points up for the month as the month gets going. Ended July well also with +28. a very solid return!
Wedge Winners:
Nine in the bag this week and it was a very solid end to July and a profit for the first week of August. Poker Face a good winner to wrap the month up with 5 points profit at Pontefract while Epictetus knocked in a solid 8 points profit helping the service to an early profit for August of 4.5 points.
36 points profit in what was a crucial July for Wedges. Lets hope for more of the same and the service can finally start heading back in the right direction.
HRN:
Three winners this week and a slightly flat start to August after such a good return for July. Mambo Beat a very solid winner to end his month with 11 points profit returned at Ffos Las. Simply Red knocked in 12.8 points profit from 2 staked to keep HRN within touching distance of a profit this month.
