Starting 21st August comes a new product to the racing scene, ‘The Professionals’. Having watched them land multiple huge doubles + some high priced singles I approached their small group about a trial. Just yesterday they landed a 22/1 winner (it’s a shame we didn’t start a day sooner!). Staking is set at 5 points or 2.5 each way, we will shorten that to 1 point win, 0.5 e/w assuming all bets are sent at 5 points.

This Peter Bowen runner was a CD winner here last time out, in what was his first ever career success.
However, he only got up by a 1/2 a length that day in what looked a hard-fought win and with a 7lb rise in the handicap a lot more is needed here.
The horse was also not always the most fluent last time out in that win – making a few jumping errors – and even though he got away with it that day this looks a slightly more competitive race so may not be so lucky on this higher mark.
Finally, there looks to be enough to cling to when looking at the others in the race – including with CD winner Hidden Depths, Galloping Pride and Pilot Show.
