Therefore, Dawn Of Liberation remains well-handicapped on old form – having been rated as high as 107 just over two years ago.
However, he’s not won a race now since 2022 – which was 18 races ago – and despite this looking more like his grade was still beaten 3 lengths the last day.
He’s also tried today’s Class 4 level six times this year and is yet to get his head in front, while the other big question mark is the trip as he’s stepping up to 1m 2f – and I’m not so sure this will suit.
Both his career wins have been over 7f and 1m and every time he’s tried running over 1m+ he’s failed to win (5 times).
Yes, just five others to take him on with here, but the good news is they all seem to have some sort of a squeak – including proven CD winners Poet’s Dawn and Ey Up It’s The Boss.
