The Sunday Supplement – 20/09/20

Good Morning!

Welcome to The Sunday Supplement by PuntHub.

A weekly roundup of all Punthub tipsters. The Supplement runs Saturday To Friday, meaning Yesterday is the start of next week’s roundup.

I wanted to quickly extend my thanks to everyone who got involved in Last Man Standing, and those who simply sent a donation for charity rather than participating. At the time of writing (Saturday morning) we have raised £285 for heart link – absolutely amazing, and thankyou again to everyone.

Onwards with our weekly overview..

Lay 2 Liability
29 winners from 35 bets this week and comes out of the week just shy of £15 profit.

It feels a bit one step forward but one step back this month but of course it could be far worse. The author has stated he wants to see how the service performs into the jumps season and won’t be rushing to sell.

Racing Ross (new for September)
With just one winner this week, and 3 to date, -86 points for the month is proof that past results don’t always guarantee future performance. Of course that’s not the full picture there were many placed horses but ultimately the service to date is heading in the wrong direction and will take the world of turning around from here.

The Betting Edge (new for September)
A whole lot of winners but no real progress for BE.
18 winners for the week it certainly has them but just 1.83 points profit from 184 staked and a rather lacklustre 0.99% ROI.

FAREWELL KISS returned 10 points profit at Wolverhampton, MAID MILLIE another tip worthy of attention returning 5.5 points profit at Chelmsford.
While looking good pre-trial Betting Edge hasn’t really replicated his form this month but has looked good in patches. Past results indicate every 4 month is a losing one – this would be the 4th month after 3 months of profit, so it could just be history repeating itself? We’ll give it more time.

Bestway Racing
Enjoying a revival in form this week and has pushed into the black for the first time since mid August. Ten Winners this week helping the service go back in the right direction with Nicklaos a worthy winner at 7/1, Singing the Blues the other selection that’s noteworthy adding 5.5 points profit. 20 points up this month from 67 staked and looking good for a profitable September after struggling in August. Needs to keep the forward momentum but it is good to see it all the same.

Top Draw
Service resumed with selections yesterday (Saturday) so will update next week.

Eye For Info
No bets this week

Taylor Made
Moves paid after a huge week in which one day saw a huge profit. 15 winners and a big leap forward despite a losing run. Artistic Rifles was massive at 28 points profit, Laurentia smashed in a hefty 25.48 points and Bringitonboris is also worthy of a mention adding 27.72 points.

That’s three 20+ point winners in a week!

The only word of caution I would offer is at 10/1 and above (on average) you will see losing runs. But if you set your bank and stick to your staking plan then just like we always see with other services, you will profit long term.

High Five
Marks a change in attitude here at PuntHub and a change I’ve wanted for quite some time.

High 5 becomes our first Forever Free service!
The volume of bets is very low and its an incredibly stable service so fits perfectly. No winners this week with the services’ only selection failing to hit the target.

You can join the above free services here

Wedge Winners
A new record at thirty-six winners this week and a somewhat insane amount of profit made in a week pushing the service well past 200 points profit. Tanqeeb returned a strong 14-point profit at Bath and Thechildren’Strust is also in there returning 12 points profit at Lingfield. Critical Thinking is the final tip worthy of a mention getting in the winner’s circle at Wolverhampton and returning 10 points profit. +109.87 from 200 staked and 238 points profit overall.

Graph goes up. No red numbers. Bang on.

HRN
Twelve winners this week and a profit for the month. At 18 points for September its not world beating but its not red so that helps. Keeper Of Time well worth a mention returning 11 points profit with Lady Elysia the other worthy mention returning 7 points profit at Bath.

We were talking about HRN turning a profit from virtually anywhere and here it is. It may not be massive but at 18 points for the month it shows that if you stick to the plan the service will do its job.

Home Form
Was unlucky last weekend with Gremio and Malmo FF both drawing. This weekends bets are out so more on how they went next week.

Tipping Point
Two winners this week and not much to report for TP. A Step Too Far and Sound Of Iona the only tips to land this week. A lot less volume this week also. Just 8 points down and appears to be running in a pattern of two winning months then one losing month.

The Master Plan
Struggling this month with just three winners to speak of. Zaffy’s Pride returned 4 points while Whenthedealinsdone also returned 5 points. Probably worth pointing out it is suffering it’s biggest ever drawdown, but a couple of winners Friday hopeful mean the end is in sight and a drawdown less than 40 points for a service of 24 months isn’t exactly warning signs.

The Final Furlong
No winners this week. Struggled a bit for time to find bets and get them out so not much action.

How’s the results?

So what’s to watch?
Taylor Made– absolutely thumped in the winners this week with three 20+ point winners providing the punch and banking the profit. Deserves a place among the premium tipsters and at £20 its priced incredibly well.

Wedge Winners– again like Taylor, WW is absolutely pumping in the profit this week and at 109 points profit this month its really showing what a good month looks like. Thirty-six winners in a week is a pretty big achievement too.

Bestway Racing– I’ll stick my neck out a little on this one and say that Bestway Racing will come good after a troubled trial so far, he’s sat 20.71 points up this month and 16 points overall from 196 staked. While that’s only an 8.29% ROI overall I reckon he’s found his feet and will push on from here.

Winner of the Week Is- Artistic Rifles knocked in 29.75 points profit at Redcar for Taylor Made who this week was basically competing with himself. An absolutely fantastic way to end his trial.

A note from the author
As a kid did you ever believe in fairytales? I can’t imagine many spurs fans thought fairytales ever came true, yet 7 years later it looks like he’s back. Will he be quite the prolific player he was? I don’t think so, but I do think he will do a job for spurs and help them achieve top 6. Yes, I said top 6. They looked woeful last week as they were easily brushed aside by a much sharper looking Everton than we’ve seen for some time.

Elsewhere we had that 7 goal thriller of Leeds and Liverpool. I thought Leeds looked quality for a team newly promoted, unlike Fulham who I already feel are doomed to go back down.

Last man standing starts this weekend and it will provide some good fun, food for thought, and more importantly a great bit of money donated to charity which is what it was all about.
